G S Blodgett LLC is seeking a skilled General Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Vermont. You will assemble complex 3D oven components from flat sheet metal pieces and follow work orders to meet specifications.

Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, comfortable using hand tools and measuring devices, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. This role emphasizes safety, precision, and teamwork in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools and measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret basic BOMs and blueprints.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble oven components (bottom sheets, insulation boards, liners, sides, tops, backs) using frames.
• Select and fasten parts with pneumatic or manual tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Apply final finishes to stainless-steel ovens and install components in ovens.
