Job summary

CSUN is seeking a Stage Technician to join the technical production team on an on-call basis at the Northridge campus. You will assist with load-in, rehearsals, performances, and load-out, working to ensure safety and a positive experience for artists and staff.

The role requires 1–2 years of theater production experience with emphasis in audio, electrics, carpentry, properties, or wardrobe, and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs and work at heights.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to one to two years of experience in theater, repertory, or stock company with emphasis in one or more production areas.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills tasks in the technical production department (audio, electrics, carpentry, properties, wardrobe).
• Assists with load-in, rehearsal/performance, and load-out for events.
• Maintains safe work environment and assists in maintaining stage equipment and systems.
