Job summary

• Attend production meetings with game operations and interactive staff.
• Act as assistant Stage Manager during Knicks home games (promotions, live shots, entertainment).
• Participate in game day special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Coordinate needs of special guests (Anthem Singers, Color Guard, acts).
• Provide exceptional guest experiences while adhering to appearance/presentation guidelines on-site.

The 7th Ave Squad Stage Manager will support the execution of New York Knicks home games and special events by assisting with game day production, coordinating talent and special guests, and helping deliver a seamless in-arena experience. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced live event environment, possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills, and is passionate about sports and entertainment

What will you do?

• Assist in the final preparation and compilation of game day folders and their contents (scripts, maps, waivers, etc.)
• Prepare game day props, oversee back of house spaces, and post dressing room signs around arena
• Attend and assist with production meetings with the game operations and interactive staff
• Act as assistant Stage Manager during all Knicks home games (execution of in-arena game promotions, contests, live shots, and entertainment performances)
• Participate in game day special projects and perform other duties as assigned
• Facilitate all special guest needs (i.e. Anthem Singers, Color Guard, entertainment acts, talent, etc.)
• Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?

• Live production experience, preferable in professional or collegiate sports
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well within a team
• Entertainment/pop culture savvy; sports knowledge preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem-solve and act independently

Hourly Pay Range

$45 — $45 USD
