Job summary

Playbill, Inc. in Florida seeks an enthusiastic Stage Manager to ensure smooth performances for a multi-week run. You will coordinate all show aspects from pre-production to final performance and communicate on headset during calls.

Proficiency in QLab, cueing tracks, calling set moves, stage fly, and ensuring safety and technical standards are essential. Housing may be available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in QLab and cueing tracks.
• Able to call the show with a headset and coordinate set moves.
• Experience managing cast/crew and upholding safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving for lighting and audio issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage cast and crew, including scheduling and show notes.
• Execute paper tech with the Director assigning set moves and transitions.
• Responsible for show reports and incident reports during the run of the show.
• Complete pre-show checklist and oversee fly checks.
• Able to problem solve lighting and audio issues during a show.
• Assist with strike and post show breakdown.
