Denison University’s Eisner Center for the Performing Arts seeks a Stage Operations Assistant to support hang and focus of theatrical lighting for Theatre, Dance, and Music productions. Acting as Head Production Electrician, you will lead student crews to install lighting across multiple venues.

Qualifications

• At least one year of documented experience in theatrical lighting.
• Ability to read interpret lighting plots and install theatrical lighting.
• Experience with ETC Ion or ETC IonXE lighting control consoles.

Responsibilities

• Interpret lighting plots and lead hang and focus of lighting fixtures.
• Collaborate with the TD of Stage Operations on other technical elements of stage setups, including pits seating, projections, etc.
• Supervise and guide student staff members, ensuring tasks are completed safely.
• Program and patch the lighting consoles (ETC IonXE) for performances.
