Surge Staffing is seeking a motivated Staffing Specialist to join our team in a full-time, internal role. This entry-level position focuses on sales, customer service, recruiting, and business development to help connect great people with great opportunities.

You will recruit, screen, interview, onboard candidates, source talent from job boards and referrals, and build strong client relationships while supporting branch operations and revenue growth at Surge Staffing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or business development preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and temporary employees
• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates
• Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and platforms
• Match candidate skills with client staffing needs
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure employee satisfaction and placements
• Generate and develop new business opportunities through sales and networking
• Perform client service calls and outside sales visits to grow partnerships
• Promote Surge Staffing services and identify additional staffing solutions
• Support branch operations through administrative tasks
• Assist with coaching, performance management, and retention efforts
• Resolve employee and client concerns professionally
• Support branch growth initiatives and revenue goals
