Job summary

Highland Park Health Care in Okmulgee, OK is seeking a Staffing Coordinator (CNA/CMA) to lead staffing for nursing personnel and manage new hire processes. The role includes interviews, reference checks, and ongoing attendance/education tracking within a multi-disciplinary team.

The position requires a CNA or CMA license, prior geriatric care scheduling experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills. KRONOS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA or CMA license in state of practice required.
• Previous experience in a nursing home or home health setting providing care to geriatric-age patients.
• Previous scheduling experience required; KRONOS experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
• Strong written and verbal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Staffing for all nursing personnel (RN, LPN, CMA, CNAs)
• Process applications for all positions
• Schedule and conduct interviews with qualified applicants/candidates
• Complete new hire reference checks, license/certification verifications
• Review staffing routinely and adjust based on census
• Conduct clinical portion of the new hire orientation
• Conduct drug testing of all new hires
• Maintain attendance records, excused/unexcused absences
• Set up, track and log attendance for all State mandated In-services and In-services as required by Administrator and DON
• Annual Proficiency Testing for Certified Nurse Aides
• May Participate in assessment and evaluation of nursing staff
• Maintain copies and track nurse and nurse aide licenses
• Track, audit and administer TB tests, Flu Shots, etc. for Residents and Employees
