Job summary

Arbor Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Wayne, New Jersey is seeking a Staffing Coordinator for a full-time position. The role offers an hourly rate of $23–$26 with same-day pay, and requires strong scheduling and staffing coordination to ensure nursing coverage and regulatory compliance.

You will build schedules, coordinate variances with the Director of Nursing Services, maintain staffing records, and collaborate with nurses and staff to uphold safe, high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Staffing Coordinator, Scheduler, or Payroll support within a nursing center or healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational skills to manage complex scheduling needs.
• Ability to balance staffing levels with multiple priorities.
• Experience coordinating nursing schedules and managing variances preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and gain staff support.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the center maintains appropriate staffing levels and adequate nursing coverage at all times.
• Complete monthly nursing schedules, coordinating staff requests to ensure proper unit coverage.
• Prepare, complete, and post work schedules and staffing sheets in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate staffing variances and schedule changes with the Director of Nursing Services (DNS).
• Maintain accurate staffing records and ensure schedules align with operational and regulatory needs.
• Build strong working relationships with staff to support collaboration and staffing stability.
• Communicate schedule updates, changes, and staffing needs clearly and professionally.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations.
