Del Amo Hospital Inc. is seeking a full-time Staffing Coordinator to manage the nursing staff scheduling to ensure all units are properly staffed. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and entails managing shift coverage based on patient needs.
As part of the Nursing Management Team, the Staffing Coordinator will utilize scheduling software, report to the Chief Nursing Officer, and ensure quality patient care through proper staffing levels. Competitive benefits are offered, including paid time off and educational assistance.
Shift: Evening
The Nursing Staff Coordinator (Staffing Coordinator) is responsible for keeping all hospital units fully staffed in order for staff to properly care for patients within the facility. The Staffing Coordinator manages the shift master scheduling software system, adjusting staffing levels based on census fluctuations, call‑ins and pre‑planned leaves of absence to ensure adequate coverage of all shifts. This position is a key contributor and member of the Nursing Management Team and reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Education: High School Graduate/GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting preferred. 1–3 years’ experience required.
