The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for keeping all the hospital units fully staffed, in order for personnel to properly care for the patients within the facility. The Staffing Coordinator creates and manages the Shift Wizard (master scheduling software system), adjusting appropriately the staffing levels based on census fluctuations, call-ins and pre‑planned leaves of absences to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts. This position is a key contributor and a member of the Nursing Management Team, and reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Preferred: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business or related field.
Experience: Two (2) years of related experience in hospital with staffing/scheduling responsibilities for all shifts for clinical and nursing personnel preferred; will consider business office and/or human resources experience, preferably in a health care setting; or any combination of education, training or experience in a hospital business office.
Licensure: Must maintain a valid driver's license in the applicable state.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion Handle with Care Training, Service Excellence Training, and CPR certification required. Certifications must be obtained during new hire orientation.
