The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing and other nursing managers in the performance of daily staffing-related and administrative duties to ensure efficient operation of the staffing office. Responsible to prepare schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels in the nursing department on a twenty-four hour basis according to administrative requirements.


Qualifications

Staffing Coordinator qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associate’s degree or Business/Secretarial education preferred; and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be detail oriented, maturity and professionalism in demeanor, appearance, communications and judgment. Advanced knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. High degree of integrity, confidentiality and loyalty.
  • Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
