Our New York City office is looking for a full-time Staffing Coordinator to join our team!

Job Summary:

As the Staffing Coordinator, you will need to be highly organized and detail-oriented to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to assist with diverse projects and provide general staffing support.

Compensation: $30.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm (approximately 40 hours/week) Rotating weekend’s

Qualifications of the Staffing Coordinator

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • 2yrs of experience in an administrative role with strong customer service skills.
  • Healthcare knowledge a plus
  • Excellent verbal communication and follow up skills
  • Data entry skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience conducting phones calls to gather information from customers/clients

Duties and Responsibilities of the Staffing Coordinator

  • Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly staff schedules for nurses, CNAs, HCAs, and other clinical/non-clinical personnel.
  • Knows and understands the staffing matrix of each Care Center and collaborates with the Director of Patient Care to provide appropriate and adequate staffing coverage.
  • Covers sick calls by contacting St. John’s staff (over budget/overtime) or contacting agencies. If unable to obtain coverage we will contact Director of Patient Care.
  • Screens telephone calls and answers routine inquiries.
  • Problem Solving & Crisis Management
  • Communication & Coordination
  • Comply withATC policies/procedures.
  • Resolving administrative issues and troubleshooting common office challenges
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Document activities accurately and completely using both Excel and the payroll/billing system
  • Comprehensive lead generation
  • Communicate information effectively to appropriate personnel
  • Administrative support to the Branch Manager
