  • Develops unit schedules for Float Pool, Nurse, and Mental Health Tech staff.
  • Monitors and updates the summer vacation calendar and holiday wish lists.
  • Acts as the point of contact for days off, vacations and switches.
  • Participates in hospital-wide scheduler meetings and partners with leadership on daily operations of the schedule.

The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic and talented Environmental Service Aide

The Horsham Clinic is a 206-bed private behavioral healthcare facility located on a beautiful 55-acre suburban campus in Montgomery County. We are minutes from Philadelphia and serve patients and families from southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Horsham Clinic provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. In addition to our main campus in Ambler, we have two satellite partial hospitalization programs in Chester County and Delaware County. Summary

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the scheduling needs of nursing staff in all inpatient programs in conjunction with program coordinators. This individual coordinates the assignment of pool and float staff to supplement program schedule vacancies and staffing needs. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for managing day‑to‑day staffing needs through ShiftHound. This individual performs responsibilities in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic. Job Responsibilities: Opens and closes schedules, provides open shift availability to team. Clearly communicates with staff on opening/closing of graphs. Reviews and revises scheduling guidelines in conjunction with nursing leadership according to department policies and hospital standards. Develops unit schedule for Float Pool, Nurse, and Mental Health Tech staff. Adheres to the unit and department guidelines for scheduling. Corresponds with staff regarding the schedule and requests. Creates and maintains summer vacation calendar. Monitors holiday wish lists/switches. Monitors staff schedules including being the contact person for requesting days off, vacations and switches. Regularly participates in hospital‑wide scheduler meetings. Partners with leadership on daily operations of the schedule.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in staffing and scheduling. Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate clearly, work proactively and collaborate within a team
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting
  • Previous experience in behavioral health, mental health, or human services
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish tasks. Previous knowledge of UKG.
  • Ability to directly communicate with staff via email and phone in a clear, friendly, and professional manner
  • Ability to assess problems that arise, developing solution/options before escalating to manager
