Google LLC is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for XR Ecosystem, AR/VR Graphics and Compositor. The role focuses on delivering software for wearable AR/VR devices, optimizing firmware for power and performance, and bringing up wearables from design to production.

Applicants should have 8+ years in software development, 6+ years in systems integration, and strong C/C++ with RTOS experience. US locations include San José, CA and San Diego, CA.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 6 years of experience in systems integration.
• Experience with embedded software/firmware development and C/C++.
• Experience in Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Engineering/CS; 8+ years in algorithms/data structures.

Mansioni

• Deliver software and technical support for wearable AR/VR devices from design to production.
• Optimize software and firmware for power, performance, memory and reliability.
• Write robust software across RTOS, embedded frameworks to Linux kernel and Android HAL.
• Bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting and commercialization of wearable devices.
