• 5+ years of experience building consumer-facing web products with strong UI quality.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript; backend Node.js experience.
• Focus on delivering excellent user experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for the Claude product and its features.
• Build and ship user-facing features for Claude's web and desktop experience.
• Own the quality bar for latency, responsiveness, and reliability; advocate for UX early in the process.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand user needs and tradeoffs.
• Iterate quickly based on user feedback and internal testing to improve the experience.
