Job summary

Believer is seeking a Staff VFX Artist to join a world-class game team and craft a visually stylized world. You will create stunning Unreal-based effects for characters, environments, and props, reporting to the Lead VFX Artist.

You will collaborate with the Creative Director and art leads to shape game feel, build reusable workflows, and ensure assets meet high-quality standards within the game's distinctive aesthetic.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional VFX in the video game industry.
• Portfolio showing high-quality stylized effects and leadership.
• Deep Unreal/Niagara experience and ability to define best practices.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D VFX in Unreal aligned with artistic vision.
• Collaborate with Creative Director and art leads on game feel and identity.
• Build/improve VFX workflows and tools per pipeline guidance.
• Tackle complex VFX/issues and derive reusable systems.
• Review VFX assets for quality and fit with stylized aesthetic.
