Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Staff UX Researcher to own end-to-end research for new incubation areas. You will use both qualitative and quantitative methods to deliver fast, actionable insights and shape product strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of research experience with qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Experience with AI tools for user research.
• Ability to run statistical analysis and design/analyze surveys, and lead foundational qualitative studies.
• Track record of delivering insights in ambiguous, early-stage spaces.
• Ability to influence strategy with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end research for incubation areas from framing questions to landing recommendations.
• Use qualitative and quantitative methods to deliver fast, actionable insights.
• Triangulate data sources to identify signals in a fast-moving space.
• Balance speed and rigor in reads and deeper studies as needed.
• Partner with Product, Design, Business Ops, and Data Science to shape strategy.
• Communicate persuasively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
• Develop narratives that highlight user needs, pain points, and opportunities.
• Lead workshops translating research into product decisions and strategy.
