Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Staff UX Researcher to lead end-to-end research for incubation work streams. You will blend qualitative and quantitative methods, shape a 0-to-1 roadmap, and partner with Product, Design, Data Science to influence strategy.

You will work with senior stakeholders, run fast reads and deep studies as needed, and craft narratives about users’ needs and pain points to inform product decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of research experience across qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Experience with AI tools for user research.
• Hands-on ability to run statistical analysis and design/analyze surveys.
• Proven track record influencing senior leadership and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end research for incubation areas from framing questions to recommendations.
• Use qualitative and quantitative methods to deliver fast, actionable insights.
• Triangulate data sources and past learnings to identify signals in ambiguous space.
• Balance speed with rigor for quick reads or deep studies as needed.
• Partner with Product, Design, Business Operations, and Data Science to shape strategy.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
• Develop narratives around user needs and pain points to drive decisions.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to translate research into product strategy.
