Job summary

Voodoo is seeking a Staff Unity Engineer to join our Engineering & Data team’s SDK squad. You will design and maintain Unity SDKs used by hundreds of engineers to create engaging games worldwide, collaborating with game developers to tailor performance and reliability.

Bring 8+ years in software with 3+ in game development, deep Unity/C# expertise, and a passion for scalable architectures. This fully remote role supports EU-based countries, with strong communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

8+ years of professional experience in software development.
3+ years of game development experience.
Strong proficiency with Unity and C#.
Strong knowledge of design patterns and software architecture.
Excellent written and spoken English; able to influence teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SDKs for Unity integration.
Collaborate with game developers to understand needs and optimize SDK performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Unity platforms.
Ensure SDK compatibility across Unity versions and platforms.
Create clear documentation and sample implementations for SDK users.
Apply best practices for performance optimization and code quality.
Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions.
