Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager for the New Verticals Engineering team in the San Francisco Bay Area or Seattle. You will lead complex programs spanning Grocery, Convenience, Retail, and Merchant Services, translating ambitious bets into actionable technical roadmaps and ensuring alignment across multiple DoorDash organizations.

You will own end-to-end execution, manage dependencies, and drive architecture and scalability considerations while partnering with product,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related discipline.
• 8+ years of recent TPM experience at a tech company.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and architecture.
• Experience collaborating with full-stack engineers and product teams.
• Strong planning, estimation, and scheduling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Translate business bets into executable technical programs across New Verticals Engineering.
• Lead cross-organizational execution with clear ownership and milestones.
• Develop deep understanding of system architecture and data flows to guide tradeoffs.
• Turn ambiguity into strategic execution paths that teams can align behind.
• Align engineering work with customer, merchant, and business outcomes.
