Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager for the Developer Productivity, DevOps & Cloud Platform team to lead cross‑functional programs that improve how engineers build, deploy, operate, and refine software. Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive program/PM experience in software, infrastructure, or DevOps.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs across software and cloud.
• Strong technical fluency with modern software delivery, CI/CD, and cloud.
• Ability to lead through influence across teams and boundaries.
• Experience in ambiguous environments with evolving ownership models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for engineers and executives.
• Track record of delivering measurable improvements in program health.
• Bias toward action, learning, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-team programs from problem definition to delivery, adoption and outcomes.
• Define strategy, scope, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
• Partner with DevOps, infrastructure, cloud, security, data, and engineering leaders to align priorities.
• Drive incident readiness, severity models, communications and post-incident learning.
• Coordinate programs improving reliability and speed across build, test, release and deployment.
• Translate technical complexity into clear decisions and actions for engineers and execs.
• Identify gaps in ownership or processes and create practical resolutions.
• Use data and operational signals to assess program health and impact.
