Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Wilmington, MA seeks a Staff Test Development Engineer to design and implement high‑performance test solutions for Analog and Mixed Signal ICs. The role requires strong C/C++/Visual Basic programming, SCAN/IDDq tests, and multi-site hardware/software engineering.

You will collaborate with design teams, define test methodologies, and support production yield across local and offshore sites. A 5+ year track record and a relevant EE degree are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline such as Electronics Engineering with 5+ years of experience analyzing and debugging analog and digital circuits.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital devices and C/C++/Visual Basic programming a must, plus scan test experience.
• Designing multi-site hardware and software solutions for Automated Test Equipment that minimize test cost and maximize test performance.
• Using schematic and layout tools such as Orcad, Cadence ALLEGRO; familiarity with Cadence tools.
• Unix operating system knowledge and lab experience with bench top instrumentation recommended.

Responsibilities

• Develop test solutions for High Performance Analog / Mixed Signal ICs.
• Design, debug multi-site test HW/SW for characterization and production.
• Define test methodologies, test plans, test modes, SCAN and IDDq tests.
• Define test schematics; work with layout engineers on multi-site PCBs.
• Debug test programs; correlate production tests to engineering bench measurements.
• Support local and offshore manufacturing to maintain production yield and quality.
• Participate in New Product Development Teams and evaluate new test systems.
• Manage project schedules aligned with product introduction and release dates.
• Be a resourceful team player willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
