Mercury Insurance Co. is seeking a Staff Test Engineer to own the test engineering strategy for large, complex software projects.

You’ll design robust test plans, develop and maintain automated scripts, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes across API, integration, and regression testing. You’ll mentor QA teammates, collaborate with Engineering and Product, and push an automation-first approach with AI-enabled test design.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• 8+ years industry experience leading testing teams on medium-sized projects.
• 3+ years of experience writing complex automation tests.
• Exposure to Insurance Industry.
• Experience with Java or Python for automation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop Test Plans and Strategies for large projects with an automation-first approach.
• Design and Execute high-complexity cross-functional test cases across testing types.
• Lead manual and automated testing to improve automation coverage.
• Mentor TE team members and share product knowledge.
