CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Westminster, CO to own and scale automated test systems for RF and satellite payload validation. You will develop test software that controls lab instruments, implement end‑to‑end validation, and drive automated infrastructure across hardware and software environments.

You will partner with hardware, software, and test teams to ensure reliable, repeatable measurements, build reusable automation components, and help evolve next‑generation test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years in software engineering or test automation.
• Experience with hardware interfaces and test instrumentation.
• Proficient in Python, C/C++, or similar languages.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Strong debugging and system-level testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test software to control laboratory instruments and systems.
• Create and maintain test sequences for system- and component-level validation.
• Integrate tests across hardware and software environments.
• Debug test failures across software, hardware, and interfaces.
• Design scalable automation frameworks and reusable components.
