Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering or test automation.
• Experience interfacing software with hardware and lab instruments.
• Strong test automation framework and infra experience.
• Proficiency in Python or C/C++.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tooling.
• Hardware integration and system testing expertise.
• Solid SDLC understanding and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test software to control lab instrumentation.
• Create and maintain test sequences for system and component validation.
• Integrate tests across hardware and software environments.
• Debug test failures across software, hardware, and interfaces.
• Ensure test systems produce reliable, repeatable results.
• Design DUT control software with telemetry ingestion and state management.
• Build reusable automation frameworks and scripts.
• Apply modular design, version control, and code reviews.
• Reduce manual effort with scalable automation solutions.
• Develop tools to boost test engineering productivity.
• Design scalable test automation infrastructure for multiple configs.
• Improve frameworks for reliability and maintainability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD where applicable.
• Standardize tooling and infrastructure across teams.
• Contribute to shared libraries and automation components.
• Act as a bridge between software and test engineering teams.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software teams for testability.
• Translate requirements into automation strategies.
• Participate in reviews to ensure validation readiness.
• Identify improvements to test automation architecture.
• Evolve test frameworks and infrastructure for next-gen needs.
• Drive simplification and standardization to reduce cycle time.
• Advocate for scalable, maintainable design principles.
