Job summary

University of Toledo Health Science Campus Medical Center is seeking a Staff Technologist - CT to perform computed tomography procedures under radiologist supervision. The role requires independent judgment in applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and may include assisting radiologists in interventional procedures.

Qualifications

  • Completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school.
  • ARRT Radiography Registered with current ODH licensure.
  • Advanced ARRT CT Registry preferred.
  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of a radiologist, performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
  • Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
  • Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
  • Can assist the radiologist in interventional procedures.
  • Serves as an ambassador of UTMC in the community, demonstrating our organization’s values, services and mission.

Job Description:

Under the direction of a radiologist, performs computed tomographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school.
  • ARRT Radiography Registered with current ODH licensure.
  • Advanced ARRT registry in CT preferred.
  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
