Job summary

RTX, the world’s leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering NDT Technician for the Heated Composites product line. This onsite position in the United States involves non-destructive bond testing, documentation, and process improvements within a collaborative team setting.

The candidate should have an AA/AS degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience; STEM degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Associates Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
  • Ability to develop and implement production manufacturing instructions using technical writing skills.
  • Test and review product using nondestructive test methods specific to bond testing.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Associates Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
  • A successful candidate will maintain and improve product profitability and yield, reducing SRR and operating costs where possible.
  • Ability to develop and implement production manufacturing instructions using technical writing skills.
  • Test and review product using nondestructive test methods specific to bond testing.
  • Programming of test equipment and review of test reports.
  • Ability to modernize the current Heated Composite’s manufacturing process to reduce labor times and increase productivity while simultaneously reducing our current reliance on WIP and inventory.

The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
