Job summary

RTX is seeking an onsite specialist for the Advanced Structures team at Riverside, CA, to fabricate composites and support aerospace manufacturing. The role emphasizes following lab plans, interpreting drawings, and maintaining quality documentation.

The ideal candidate has a AA/AS degree with substantial experience in composites lay-up and dimensional inspection, ready to contribute to production efficiency and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Composites fabrication experience (e.g. lay-up)

Responsibilities

• Read and follow lab planning, lab procedures and work instructions.
• Able to interpret basic blueprint/drawings if required.
• Able to read and follow specification requirements
• Check work visually and dimensionally using required documentation to verify configurations, quality and identify nonconformance from workmanship of self and others.
• Use computers and office equipment to record and process transactions.
• Keep equipment and surroundings neat, clean and organized.
• Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function as well as willing to learn other processes to broaden skillset
