Mainspring Energy, Inc is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager for Software Engineering to translate strategy into rapid delivery. You will bridge hardware and software cycles, drive execution, and ensure alignment with ambitious company goals.

You will own schedules, collaborate with engineering leadership, and enforce scalable workflows to accelerate development while protecting delivery timelines. This role is onsite at Menlo Park HQ and offers stock options and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical program management within hardware/software integrated environments.
• Technical fluency to adjudicate priority and trade-offs across Electrical, Software, and Controls teams.
• Full lifecycle mastery across the SDLC from investigation to market delivery.
• Delivery leadership with accountability for cross-team alignment and executive reporting.
• Process governance and change management to accelerate time-to-market.
• Excellent communication with both roadmap presentations and deep-dive reviews.
• Hands-off and collaboration with DevOps/Release Management for fleet deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own the program end-to-end from concept to validation readiness and schedule.
• Partner with engineering to define milestones, mitigate risks, and manage budgets.
• Drive bug triage, validation planning, and EC management to accelerate delivery.
• Provide data-driven program health visibility and executive-level trade-offs.
