Job summary

Form Energy is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to drive the development and validation of its multi‑day battery technology. You will lead cross‑functional workstreams across hardware, firmware, software, and electrical engineering to ensure successful delivery and launch.

You will partner with technical leaders to enforce PDP conventions, manage risks, and mentor teams, all while advancing Form Energy’s mission in Berkeley, CA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical program management focused on hardware products.
• Experience managing cross‑disciplinary programs (systems, EE, firmware/software).
• Expertise in the Product Development Process (PDP) and product validation.
• Systems thinking with ability to influence technical leaders across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Own the full product delivery and validation cycle from concept to launch and commercialization.
• Define and execute technically complex workstreams across systems architecture, EE, firmware, and software.
• Develop and enforce PDP practices for product validation and documentation."
• Mitigate program risks and dependencies, balancing technical and business outcomes.
• Facilitate technical and strategic decisions with engineering and executives to maintain momentum.
• Mentor other program managers and engineers to elevate team capabilities.
