Job summary

Google DeepMind is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects from concept through delivery. You will plan requirements with internal customers and drive projects through the full lifecycle, communicating risks and decisions to executives and engineers alike.

As a TPM, you will manage a variety of projects, identify future opportunities, improve processes, and steer the technical direction of programs that impact billions of users.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 8 years of program management experience is required.
• At least 3 years leading cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities

• Guide Gemini feature launches from conception to delivery.
• Partner with program managers and engineering leads to define product strategy and ensure precise execution.
• Navigate and resolve complex dependencies across workstreams and organizations.
• Guide engineering teams in identifying, prioritizing, and tracking tasks to meet deadlines.
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain project velocity.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience in program management

3 years of experience leading cross-functional programs

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $256000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
