Job summary

Apptronik in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a seasoned Staff Technical Program Manager to lead ML operations and perception programs for humanoid robotics at the new site. You will orchestrate cross-functional execution across ML, perception, software and hardware, and partner with a strategic AI partner to drive shared milestones.

As the first TPM on the ground, you will stand up program structures, drive execution, and mentor the Sunnyvale team while aligning stakeholders and engineering leadership

Qualifications

• "Bachelor's degree" and 10+ years experience in TPM/engineering management; robotics background preferred.
• Experience leading ML lifecycle programs across data, training, evaluation, deployment, and edge inference.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Site Program in Sunnyvale: establish PM structure, cadences, operating rhythms.
• Own end-to-end ML infrastructure and perception program execution across data pipelines, training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Drive perception roadmaps and integrate perception capabilities into the robot stack.
• Interface with key external AI partner, translating needs to internal plans and tracking milestones.
• Define strategic direction, resource needs, and ensure delivery against company roadmap.
• Mentor and scale TPMs, improve practices, and align execs with engineering leadership.
