Job summary

DNSFilter is seeking a Staff Technical Product Manager to own our protection platform at the endpoint, the software our customers deploy across laptops, desktops, and mobile so users stay safe wherever they work.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in product management with security, networking, or endpoint products, and a practical view of AI as a protective tool. This is a full-time remote role with a preference for candidates in the United States in ET or Central time zones.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, including significant time on security, networking, or endpoint products.
• Experience with traffic interception, inspection, filtering, or isolation, plus encryption/privacy trade-offs.
• Deployment through MDM/RMM, scripting, VPNs, and unfamiliar networks.
• A view on AI as something to protect, not only build with, including shadow AI use and visibility into agents and tools on a device.
• Track record of taking an open, undefined problem to a shipped product.
• Experience designing interfaces, reporting, and data for technical users.
• Hands-on collaboration with engineers, writing roadmaps and actionable items.
• Comfort using AI to move faster, especially Claude, and knowing its limits.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executives, customers, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work hours overlapping with ET hours.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and backlog for our protection platform at the endpoint across all supported OSes.
• Own governing AI activity on the device: shadow AI use, visibility, and control over agents and tools.
• Own deployment behaviors from MDM/RMM to scripting and conflicts with other software, VPNs, and unfamiliar networks.
• Decide what we inspect, log, and retain to ensure encryption/privacy remain deliberate product decisions.
• Design the experience and data around each capability for usability, configurability, and measurability.
• Collaborate daily with Engineering and Architecture on feasibility, trade-offs, and sequencing, writing roadmaps and items.
• Represent the product with customers, partners, and prospects across all segments.
