Job summary

Oura is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager, Core Technologies to lead multiple core technology initiatives within the Hardware TPM team in San Francisco.

You will drive feasibility, risk reduction, and readiness for transfer into future NPI programs, partnering with senior engineers, designers, supply managers, and cross-functional leaders across mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, science, sensing, silicon, and materials.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional engineering or technology development efforts.
• Experience with new technologies, difficult integrations, or early-stage development programs.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, plan technical work, and define readiness.
• Experience managing multiple initiatives in parallel across timelines and stakeholders.
• Strong program management judgment and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple core technology initiatives and readiness for transfer to NPI programs.
• Partner with senior engineers, designers, supply managers, and cross-functional leaders.
• Define scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and success criteria.
• Establish development plans, decision points, and readiness criteria.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and mitigate risks early.
• Lead prototype builds, experiments, and learning cycles to mature technologies.
• Provide clear program reporting on status, risks, decisions, and open questions.
• Support external partners and vendors delivering development work.
• Help define and refine core technology development processes.
• Foster execution, open communication, and high accountability.
