Oura is seeking a Director of Core Manufacturing Technology to lead a global team across SMT, molding, coatings, and optics. Qualifications

• 12+ years in high-volume Consumer Electronics, Wearables, Medical Devices or Semiconductors.
• Experience solving molding or SMT yield/fallout on the factory floor.
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams across SMT, molding/encapsulation, coatings, optics, and automation.
• Strong ability to balance urgent build demands with long-term process skeleton growth and standardization.

Responsibilities

• Own the Core Technology roadmap for foundational manufacturing processes.
• Standardize core process modules and propagate improvements globally.
• Identify, develop, and protect proprietary manufacturing methods.
• Lead molding, encapsulation, and optics excellence for biosignal sensing.
• Drive strategy for ultra-miniaturized SMT and robust underfill/overcoating.
• Define global equipment standards and manage vendor relationships.
• Deploy Core Tech experts into projects during EVT/DVT/PVT phases.
• Ensure CM site readiness and high-volume production capabilities.
• Represent Core Manufacturing Technology in leadership discussions.
