Job summary
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Staff Systems Safety Engineer in Roy, Utah to support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This position requires US citizenship and an active Secret clearance, with eligibility for SAP access, and uses MIL-STD-882E hazard analyses in safety engineering for weapon-system design.

- Knowledge of safety analyses and support to weapon-system design
- Ability to obtain SAP access per business need

- Manage requirements, allocation, and traceability for safety
- Collaborate with program IPTs to mature architecture content
- Ensure safety artifacts are properly represented in models and simulations
