Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Safety Engineer (T-02) or Principal Systems Safety Engineer (T-03) for the Sentinel program, based in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL. You will contribute to system safety analyses, requirements traceability, and model-based design in a large defense program. Responsibilities include developing artifacts, collaborating with IPTs, and ensuring MIL-STD-882E compliance.

U.S. citizenship and DoD clearance are required; a SAP approval is also needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years experience for Systems Engineer role
• Experience with C/C++, Java, and OO design
• US Citizenship with current DoD Secret clearance within last 6 years

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IPTs to develop systems engineering artifacts
• Develop and mature architecture content for large programs
• Ensure requirements are properly represented in the model
• Contribute to system requirements development and analysis
• Develop unifying model techniques and processes
