Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Staff, Systems and Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure. You will drive identity modernization, automation, and security for large-scale environments, collaborating across teams to ensure reliable operations.

The role requires expertise in systems engineering, cloud migration, and configuration management, with hands-on leadership across Active Directory and hybrid identity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 4+ years in technology infrastructure engineering across compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization.
• Experience with Active Directory and IAM.
• Automation and configuration management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for enterprise Active Directory services across multi-domain, multi-forest and hybrid environments.
• Modernize domain controller infrastructure through service optimization initiatives.
• Support identity modernization by integrating Active Directory with cloud-based identity platforms and reduce legacy authentication dependencies.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks, monitoring platforms, and alerting solutions.
• Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and escalations support for engineers.
