Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in network engineering, expert multicast/unicast protocol knowledge, and strong Linux proficiency.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience as a network engineer
- Expert level knowledge of multicast and supporting protocols IGMP & PIM
- Expert level knowledge of unicast protocols OSPF & BGP
- Experience with end to end testing of both unicast and multicast data flows
- Quality of Service and CBWFQ knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of Linux based operating systems
- Hands on experience with networking design, test and operation for LOS/BLOS
- Proficient in test script development using Python, Matlab
Responsibilities
- Enable UAS C2 capabilities through resilient network design
- Design, develop, and maintain system components that meet requirements
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure reliability and scalability
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure software-hardware integration
- Document software engineering processes and ensure regulatory compliance
