Job summary

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in network engineering, strong knowledge of multicast and routing protocols, Linux proficiency, scripting (Python/MATLAB), and holds a U.S.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of network engineering experience with demonstrated ability to execute complex tasks.
• Expert in multicast (IGMP, PIM) and unicast routing (OSPF, BGP).
• Experience with end-to-end testing of unicast and multicast data flows.
• Proficient in QoS and CBWFQ.
• Advanced Linux operating system knowledge.
• Hands-on networking design, testing and operation for LOS/BLOS.
• Proficient in Python or MATLAB for test scripting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Must hold a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work onsite at Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Enable UAS C2 capabilities through resilient network design
• Derive system/subsystem/component level requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain system components that meet functional and performance requirements in complex system environments
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability, scalability, and resilience of software applications, especially within a distributed systems context
• Work closely with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components
• Collaborate with the team to define and document software engineering processes and practices, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
