Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a systems/network engineer to advance UAS C2 capabilities. You will design, develop, and test software and network components, ensuring reliability and secure operation with close collaboration across hardware and software teams.

Requirements include 5+ years in network engineering, expert knowledge of multicast/unicast routing, Linux, and an active US Secret clearance. Travel up to 50% and onsite at Costa Mesa HQ are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a network engineer
• Expert level knowledge of multicast and supporting protocols IGMP & PIM
• Expert level knowledge of unicast and supporting protocols OSPF & BGP
• Experience with end to end testing of both unicast and multicast data flows
• Experience with QoS and CBWFQ
• Advanced knowledge of Linux based operating systems
• Hands on experience with networking design, test and operation for LOS/BLOS
• Proficiency in test script development using Python, Matlab
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Must hold a U.S. Secret security clearance
• Ability to travel domestically up to 50% and onsite at Costa Mesa, CA

Responsibilities

• Enable UAS C2 capabilities through resilient network design
• Derive system/subsystem/component level requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain system components to meet requirements
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliability and scalability
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers for integration
• Document software engineering processes and quality standards
