Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer SEIT Lead to drive architecture, integration, and verification of complex space systems. You will guide cross-functional teams, derive and allocate system requirements, and ensure traceability from concept to verification.

In this role, you will manage milestones, foster a systems-thinking culture, and apply model-based systems engineering practices to deliver cohesive, high-performance solutions for national security and space exploration missions.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of related experience in systems engineering.
• Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle and MBSE.

Responsibilities

• Lead specification, architecture, and integration of complex system solutions.
• Oversee derivation, allocation, tracing, and management of system requirements and architectures.
• Lead development milestone reviews and drive system verification activities.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and drive continuous improvement.
