Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Staff Systems Engineer as an execution lead within a multi-disciplinary engineering team. The role can be filled in Oklahoma City, OK or San Diego, CA, and requires a DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities include requirements development, interface management, and coordination with program and subsystem leads to ensure verification and validation of artifacts, while maintaining program schedules and costs.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret or higher clearance.
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance.
• Experience with requirements and verification management in DOORS.
• Experience with requirement decomposition and traceability from System to Unit/Supplier Specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements development, allocation, verification/validation planning and manage interface definition efforts.
• Write complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure proper verification and validation of Systems Engineering artifacts.
• Manage Control Accounts as the CAM for scope assigned, delivering all team deliverables on time and within cost.
• Ensure technical quality, performance, cost and schedule for product team content on the program.
