Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to join our team. This position will be located at Huntsville, AL to support Special Programs & Futures in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division.

You will decompose complex requirements, develop architectures, oversee verification and validation, and drive MBSE practices using CAMEO and DOORS, contributing to proposal development and risk management.

Qualifications

Requires inclusion in Systems Engineering team and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
Experience on architecture development, requirements development, interface definition, integration.

Responsibilities

Provide systems engineering support across the TMRR phase and guide requirements development.
Decompose requirements into hardware and software specs with traceability.
Develop functional architectures, CONOPS, and use cases using MBSE tools.
Oversee verification, validation strategies for software and hardware components.
Create and manage technical maturation roadmaps and risk analyses.
Lead cross-functional working groups and reviews.
Produce key SE deliverables (design reviews, ICDs, requirements baselines).
Support proposal development and Bases of Estimate for TMRR efforts.
