Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff CORE Systems Engineer to join our Baltimore team on-site. You will provide technical leadership across programs, drive cross-discipline integration, and shape system solutions from concept to fielded platforms.

The role requires a Secret clearance, a strong background in systems engineering, and experience leading design reviews and requirements management. Salary ranges and benefits reflect the seniority and market conditions for this position.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; 12+ years experience, or 10+ with Master, 8+ with PhD
U.S. Citizenship required.
Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required.
Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
Experience in systems engineering in aerospace/defense.
Experience with requirements analysis, flow-down, and interface control documentation.
Experience in major systems reviews (SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR).
Proficient with systems engineering tools (DOORS, CAMEO, MATLAB).

Responsibilities

Lead application and improvement of systems engineering processes.
Own requirements management and traceability across the lifecycle.
Lead major system design reviews (PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR) and risk retirement.
Provide technical direction to cross-functional teams.
Act as technical authority to ensure compliance with SOW and system requirements.
