Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an expert to lead Oracle EBS and Finance initiatives in a large enterprise. You will design, build, and support scalable EBS solutions, lead integrations with external platforms, and drive cloud-enabled finance services using AWS.

The role requires deep Oracle EBS experience, API/middleware skills, and strong SOX/compliance knowledge, with leadership responsibilities across architecture and delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience designing, developing, integrating, and supporting Oracle EBS in large-scale enterprises.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support scalable enterprise solutions across the Oracle EBS and Finance systems landscape.
• Serve as a senior technical expert for Oracle EBS Financials.
• Lead the development and management of integrations between Oracle EBS and internal/external platforms.
• Build and enhance finance-related services leveraging AWS and related cloud technologies.
• Contribute to the development of in-house Oracle MCP and AI-powered components.
• Apply AI thoughtfully as a force multiplier in engineering workflows.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Drive end-to-end technical solution delivery.
• Evaluate current finance system architecture and processes.
• Ensure strong software development lifecycle practices.
• Partner across Finance and IT to support broader ERP modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15+ years of progressive experience designing, developing, integrating, and supporting Oracle EBS solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience developing Oracle EBS components, integrations using APIs, web services, middleware, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience building or contributing to internal platform capabilities, such as Oracle MCP tools, reusable enterprise components, or AI-enabled engineering tools, is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and enterprise AI use cases.
• Strong technical knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, EBS extension frameworks, reporting tools, and related Oracle development technologies.
• Experience with middleware and enterprise application architecture.
• Solid experience with AWS services and cloud-native development.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across architecture, design, development, issue resolution, release management, and production support.
• Strong knowledge of SOX controls, audit requirements, security, and change management practices within ERP and financial systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, systems thinking, and engineering judgment.

Demonstrates extensive expertise in designing and supporting Oracle EBS Financials solutions, integrating cloud technologies like AWS, and applying AI in engineering workflows. Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and ensure compliance with SOX controls and audit requirements within ERP systems.
