General Motors Holdings LLC in Milford, MI is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer specialized in low voltage (LV) batteries to lead system engineering activities from concept to production. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and GM requirements, while developing reliability plans such as FMEAs and validation tests.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze field data, and define system requirements and interfaces for LV battery systems.
The successful candidate is expected to report to Milford, MI three times per week, at minimum, or as dictated by the business.
We are seeking a Staff Systems Engineer specializing in Low Voltage (LV) Batteries to join our team at General Motors Holdings LLC. This role will be crucial in ensuring the regulatory compliance, reliability, and overall system engineering integrity of our LV battery systems.
Upon successful completion of a motor vehicle report review, you will be eligible to participate in a company vehicle evaluation program, though which you will be assigned a General Motors vehicle to drive and evaluate. Note: program participants are required to purchase/lease a qualifying GM vehicle every four years unless one of a limited number of exceptions applies.
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week {or other frequency dictated by their manager}.Relocation benefits are available for candidates who qualify under company policy.
