Staff Systems Engineer

Location: Huntsville, AL

Staff Systems Engineer to support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the A&D MBSE team. The role is responsible for developing Systems Engineering products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field with eight years’ experience, or a Master’s degree with six years’ experience, or a PhD with four years’ experience.

Experience Requirements

• Strong technical background in systems engineering and verification.
• Experience with DOORS.
• Willingness to assume a technical leadership role.
• Demonstrated capability working independently and within a team environment.
• Systems engineering experience with large, complex systems.
• Experience using JIRA.
• At least 2‑year experience on GWS or GMD.
