Job summary

Technical-Link N. America seeks a Staff Systems Electrical Engineer to own the electrical architecture across our product lines from concept through production. You will drive interfaces, platform reuse, and tradeoffs between hardware and firmware while coordinating with thermal and mechanical teams.

You will lead design reviews, DFMEA, and certification efforts, and mentor engineers. Expect travel to partner sites; a strong background in analog/mixed-signal, EMC, and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience owning system-level architecture and requirement flowdown.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-domain electrical design problems.
• Experience with EMC/ safety certification processes (UL/IEC/FCC).
• Strong written and verbal communication for internal/external stakeholders.
• Comfort using AI tools to accelerate engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical architecture across products from concept to production.
• Define interfaces and boundaries between hardware, firmware, and thermal domains.
• Lead design reviews and establish design standards.
• Drive DFMEA and safety/compliance activities; ensure test yield at ramp.
• Collaborate with JDM/CM partners; travel 4–6 trips/year.
