Qualifications

• B.Sc./B.Eng. in structural, civil, or mechanical engineering.
• Active California PE license.
• 5+ years in structural steel design and fabrication for industrial equipment.
• Experience managing structural projects including schedule, budget, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze new structural steel projects, including new products and facility structures.
• Lead detailed structural design for existing steel designs across USA sites.
• Provide structural support for machinery design and loads analysis.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables for structural projects.
• Coordinate vendors across design, procurement, and fabrication phases.
• Perform structural analyses to support design decisions and code compliance.
• Certify (PE stamp) own designs and review others' work.
• Interface with mechanical/analysis teams to integrate structural designs.
• Support permitting submittals and respond to plan-check comments.
• Hands-on support of structural integration and construction of designs.
